As already mentioned, Ashoka Group is involved in the manufacturing of gears and gearboxes since its inception in 1952. We make use of various materials in making our gearboxes. The materials used for manufacturing gearboxes depend upon the strength and service conditions like wear, noise, performance etc. We procure our materials form reliable sources. All the raw materials are properly tested before being used in the manufacturing process. The gears may be manufactured from metallic or non-metallic materials. All materials conform to ASTM, BS, IS, AISI, SAE standards so that the gearboxes made out of them are durable and corrosion resistant.
