How to Implement a Strong QMS for V-Series Gearbox

1. Establish Quality Objectives for the Gearbox

• Engineering Objectives
• Achieve required torque and speed reduction ratio accuracy.
• Maintain runout tolerance (e.g., shaft concentricity within X mm).
• Achieve noise/vibration level within defined limits.

Manufacturing Objectives

• Zero defects in gear teeth profile.
• Consistent hardness level after heat treatment.

2. Define Processes & Process Flow

Create a Process Flow Diagram (PFD) that clearly maps all stages:

4. Apply Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA)
